OpenZIM: DISTRIBUTED SEMINAR and DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT APPLICATION

openZIM has been released in v1.0 at 29th of July 2010 on behalf and in cooperation with
“Courage! DAS NETZWERK FÜR DEMOKRATIE UND COURAGE”. ZIM stands for: „Ziele, Inhalt, Methoden“ and is a web-based system to create, archive, export and merge ZIM documents in teams.

openZIM has been released in v2.0 in 2012 after a close evaluation of the previous version. Among other things a real-time chat has been integrated to provide a direct channel for communication in the application for all team members respectively working groups. The document rendering engine has been improved and extended with new functions and formatting possibilities.
